Slow drains, plumbing or sewage back-ups, or other signs – such as sewage odors, or water surfacing in the yard will often show that you need a septic tank or system repair.

Other times they can go undetected for years! Regardless of the issue, give Center Septic a call. We will quickly come to your home or business for a thorough diagnosis and estimate of your situation and get to work to fix it as soon as possible. Center Septic is a fully insured, C42-licensed contractor and is qualified to diagnose and perform a wide range of residential and commercial septic system repairs including:

Tank Interior Patching and Repair
Septic tanks can crack. Over time sulfuric acid can eat away the concrete, necessitating repairs.
Baffle Wall Repair
The baffle wall separates solids from liquids, slows down the wastewater process and diverts incoming wastewater downward. If the baffle wall is compromised, this will impede the effective operation of the whole system.
Leach field repair, line addition/replacement
If the leach lines clog or are overloaded with too much liquid, they can flood, causing sewage to flow to the ground surface or create backups in toilets and sinks.
Inlet and Outlet Tee Repair
These devices direct the flow of wastewater in and out of your septic tank and keep organic matter from going into the leach field. If they are damaged or broken they can cause a leach field failure or other problems.
Riser Installation
Building codes require new septic systems to have watertight risers, with the tops no lower than 6 inches below finished grade. The lids are often set at ground level which makes maintenance (pumping and inspection) much easier. Center Septic can add risers to existing systems for you.
Septic Tank Replacement
Due to a number of factors, the tank itself (concrete or plastic) can degrade, crack and fail, requiring replacement.
Mainline Repair
The mainline is the pipe that goes from your home into the tank. It can crack or get clogged due to tree roots, rodents, or other environmental conditions.
Replacement Lids
Plastic or concrete lids can crack or otherwise be damaged and need replacement.
Locating Service for Existing Systems
If you know you have a septic system but you don’t know where it is, it’s important to find out so you can perform proper routine maintenance on the system. Center Septic will use modern tank location technology to find your system.

Sometimes the issues with your septic system will require a complete system replacement, but we’ll only recommend that after we’ve exhausted all repair options. Also, while you're considering repairs, you may want to explore installing septic risers. Risers replace existing below-ground concrete, fiberglass, or metal septic tank lids and bring access to the lid to ground level. That way, your tank can be pumped easily, and therefore regularly.
